    WC 3315 cartridge not detected

    I have a WC 3315 displaying the message '' cartridge not detected'', the cartridge is brand new (106R02313) , any clue?

    This usually occurs when the consumables replaced are either those that Xerox send to customers on contract and they are being used in a non-contract machine or the other way round.
    Where did the cartridge come from?
    Try swapping the chips from the old cartridge and see what happens.

    The only difference that i can see now it is a large capacity, and the one that use to be in before was a regular capacity that we bought from synnex and it was working ok,so we bought a large capacity at the same place but it is not functionnal unfortunatly...

    So i don't think it is a meter cartridge.
