DOCUCOLOR 240 how to clear 042-326 code?

Hello everyone

I have a Docucolor 240 with this error code 042-326. I believe it has to do with the transfer belt home position. The belt reflective mark is clean, is there a service program mode I should activate? I do not have a service manual so I would really appreciate if someone can help me out with how to enter SP modes or what could be causing this code.

thanks

Belt Home Position too long

Initial Action

NOTE:

If this fault is declared 3 times in succession, the print mode will be disabled. In order to clear this condition, reset NVM location 741-105 to 0.

• <LI id=svc.olym.0000105816>Check the opening/closing of the Front Cover.
• Turn the power OFF then ON.

Procedure

Check that the Transfer Belt is in the center (where the IBT Belt Edge and the IBT Belt Frame are approx. the same distance from the front and rear). Center if required (see REP 9.3).
Perform ADJ 9.13 Belt Edge Learn Cycle. .................

You must use a PWS

A PWS?

I'm a Ricoh tech so I'm not shure what a PWS is. How do I enter the service program mode to reset NVM location 741-105 to 0?

I also noticed you posted some files but I can't view what they are.

Thank alot

Hi. You have to check the edoc for this product to make sure you have the correct NVM. Thanks

Hi Techmate,

I got the NVM off you the other day to turn off the "drum needs replacing" message on the ApeosPort C6550 (Docucolor 5065) and it worked. Do you have the NVM to turn the message off on the DocuCentre C3000. That would be a great help.
Regards
George

Hi bro. Sorry, I had my home pc serviced so I didn't have internet access 'till now.

I haven't done any NVM drum message reset- "ignore and continue" on a DCC3000 as these are not high volume/ graphic art machines. They do not display the message as frequent as the 5065/6550. So the best thing to do is replace the drum!
