WC 7835 Image Quality problem
Hello!
Machine WC 7835 has problem: When printing with magenta on prints in the same place (bottom print) appears light bar. I cleaned LPH unit, changed block fotobarabana- not help. What can be wrong?

Re: WC 7835 Image Quality problem
Swap the magenta drum with another one inside the machine and make prints. If the fade is on the drum color you switched it is the drum. All drums are the same in that machine.
Hope that helps

Re: WC 7835 Image Quality problem
Ok so changing the magenta drum still has the fade on the bottom? Is the Magenta Drum or toner cart near end of life, less than 20% remaining? Sign into diagnostics and select Adjustments Tab - select dC612 and print out test pattern 7. If the print comes out and should show all 4 colors, look at magenta, if it is faded at any point and you have swapped the drums with no change then you have a Developer Issue.
Hope this helps

Re: WC 7835 Image Quality problem
Test pattern is printed. Magenta is faded on the bottom of print and I have swapped the drums with no change.
It mean, magnetic roller may be dirty or or the problem is in the developer?

Re: WC 7835 Image Quality problem
Yes you need to replace or reload the developer housing. Are you familiar with the process of removal? Remember to remove the NVM sticker or write down the number as you will need the 3 digit number after installation. Below are the US Based part numbers.
848K65676 - Developer housing CMYK
675K85050 - developer (M)
Hope this helps.

Re: WC 7835 Image Quality problem
Thank you for your help! Final question: If I wont see any dirt on magnetic roller or in housing, I need to replace housing fully or just developer exactly?

Re: WC 7835 Image Quality problem
When you clean out the developer housing, check the mag roller to see if there is any signs of damage like a ding, or stray piece of material that doesnt belong in there. I would just replace the developer charge/powder first and if that doesnt work then the entire housing.
Hope this calls
