Scan- and eMail-Kit on DC535 - Kit-Number

Hi out there,

I have got an DocumentCentre 535 and I want to use the scan and eMail-function. In the DC an scan-kit is installed as it shown as in the hardware infomations on the DC - but it is disabled.

If I want to activate it it asks for a kit-number.

Do you know what this kit-number is and where I can get it?
I don't have anz documents, the onlz I have is a diskette on my DC for service purposes but the file on the disk is not human-readable.

Can anybody help me ... ?

Hi there! Scan kits and scan-to-email function usually comes with a SOFTWARE KEY that should be included in the documentation of your machine. The best way to get help is to call/ ring xerox and quote the serial number in order for them to identify the software key that should be in their system at the time of installation.

I think you should be able to enable the options with these codes.
Or if you want you can always call Xerox as "TECHMATE" explained you

Is it possible to use this scan kit numbers also for WCP 35-45-55 machines?

Hi,

You already guessed it but unfortunately these codes can only be used on the machines I already posted others are completely different and for Sale as many people want them and makes this machines worth a lot more . I sell them for 150 euro's btw
