    NIC not working

I'm working on a DC1632. I have it connected throught a cross cable to my laptop. Tried a normal network as well. No response from the printer. What's the best way to test the NIC?

    Hi Friend,
Does the machine get ready to copy, if so can you print out the configuration report and check for the network addresses if present.
Test the cross over cable with another printer.

I don't know the DC1632. Can you send a ping test from the machine?
    Try to send to 127.0.0.1
    Is the loopback test.
