Xerox X700 FFPS SW Corruption, invalid license

Have someone have had a situation where after reloading the FFPS SW, there is a message invalid license, when trying to load the license.
I Noted that the host id changed to a new one. for this reason the license is not reconigzed. there is a way to revert this change?. customer has not contract with xerox anymore 6 months ago. now he has to buy the new license with the new hostid but is vey expensive.
    any idea?
    Thanks to all

I believe you would have needed to save the License file before you reinstalled software, now its gone. It always wise to keep a copy on hand in the case of a HDD failure or something of that nature.

Look around the Xerox Tech should have saved it to a CD.

If the host id was changed always is needed to generate a new license file.
Even if you have saved the old one it is inoperable.

That is the point. I have the old license. but now hostid is different and it does'nt work anymore. When I reload the SW, I Noted there was no option to select bg0 or e1000g0, only one option e1000g1 which is not in the instalation guide. some tell me if I format the HDD maybe recover the old host ID. is there a way to recover the old Hostid, or linux command to set the hostid?. would be great !
    Thanks to all
