Xerox Work Center 7556 ITB removal proceedure needed

Hello, i have a customer that heard a crinkling noise. i found a label stuck to the inside machine above the transfer belt. i removed the fuser, the drums, the drum door release lever, the belt cleaner unit as well as the waste container. i suspect that the drive coupler needs to be retracted, maybe in service mode. but i cheched there and didnt see anything pertaining to that.
does anyone know what i need to do, or just run??

thank you very much for any help. have a great weekend, Jim

    Almost.
    Lower lhs door flat.
2 spring loaded brackets one either side / just under the fuser removed.
Grey release plunger pulled out at rear underside of fuser.

    That's it. Pull itb out.

oh, cool. so, to recap. to lower the left side door flat, should i disconnect the rear door support limiter bracket? and the rear plunger, is that accessed from the back of the machine, but is about where the under side of the fuser is??

Here it is direct from the manual.

    1. Remove the Imaging Unit (Y/M/C/K) (REP 1.2, page 8-10).
    2. Remove the IBT Belt Cleaner Assembly (REP 6.1, page 8-57).
    3. Remove the KL Clip that secures the Rear Strap at the rear, and remove the
Rear Strap from the L/H Cover Assembly.
    4. Use a needle-nose plier to turn the Left Hand Door Support strap at the front
counterclockwise by 90° and pull it towards you. Turn it back at the inner
stopper position, then incline the L/H Cover Assembly horizontally until it stops
    5. Turn the Tension Lever counterclockwise.
    6. Remove 1 screw (silver, 8mm) that secures the Tension Lever and remove the tension lever
    7. Remove 1 screw (silver, 8mm) that secures the Front Lock Bracket and remove
    the Front Lock Bracket.
    8. Remove 1 screw (silver, 8mm) that secures the Rear Lock Bracket and remove the Rear Lock Bracket
    9. Pull the Stopper Lever Latch.
    Caution
Do not move the IBT Belt Unit out too far to prevent from dropping the IBT
    Belt Unit.
    10. Release the latch.
    11. Pull out the IBT Belt Unit by holding onto the indicated section (A) until the
Handle at the front/rear become accessible.
    12. Lift the IBT Belt Unit upward using the Handles at the front/rear and slide the IBT Belt Unit toward you to remove it.

Sorry I couldn't cut and paste the diagrams

Yes, That is the correct lever.

Be careful with two spring loaded lock brackets.

They ONLY go in a certain (correct) way.

Also when reinstalling the IBT assembly make sure you line it up correctly, DON'T FORCE IT!

    Good luck.
