The location or picture of the jamming would help.
The error code also will help.

Xerox higher end machines are not really suited to newbies.

This is no reflection on your mechanical abilities, or prowess on fixing
other brands, but rather a statement about xerox’s desire to keep their
intellectual property as close to the vest as they can.

Xerox machines beyond the basic models have their manuals installed on laptop

computers and are called edocs (Electronic Documentation) they

are not available in a pdf format.

In your case you are asking where to find the error code, then you will have to ask what it means,

then you will have to ask what the part or procedure for fixing the problem is.

They are several people in this forum that will sell you a laptop already configured with edocs installed.

Unless the problem is visually discernable. I think you will be frustrated in trying to repair the problem

(Which is what Xerox wants in the first place)

That all being said the way to get to the error codes on the WorkCentre 7435 is as follows.

    Enter the CE mode

Press and hold the 0 key for 5 seconds, then while still holding down the 0 key, press the Start button.

The CE Access Number screen will appear.

    Enter 6789 and press Confirm.

Press the Machine Status button on the control panel.

Select the Tools tab on the UI screen.

    Select System Settings.

In the Group column, select Common Service Settings

In the Features column, scroll down to Maintenance / Diagnostics.

    Then scroll down to Faults

    Then go to JAM COUNTER
