Maybe someone will be interested. I found the problem why this device stopped working. The little plastic gear cracked.

Does anyone have a manual or pictures how to change or remove the registration/preheat assembly?
I have the same fault code. When the printer starts it sounds like a gear is broken.
Sometimes everything is ok, but mostly it doesn‘t work.

This is usually caused by paper dust clogging up the home sensor on the registration pre-heat assembly.

Clean the sensor.

If that doesn't work replace the entire regi assembly. Takes five minutes.

I have a whack of these used to swap in when they get dirty.

Cheap paper will cause this error within 20,000 copies.
