    Xerox Colorqube 9301 Error 089-520

    have someone a hint where the fault was or knowing Issue, for the Error 89-520-00 Home Sensor Timeout RAP ?

    DC625 Calibration also will not work

    of course the calibration won't pass .. you have an error ... that must be cleared first... hopefully you have the SM ( never go out on a xerox without one )

    Yep, has a service manual,
    have working the process trough, but the error will still come back,I think the sensor or the unit was faulty, so i order a new one, and hope it will work

    This is usually caused by paper dust clogging up the home sensor on the registration pre-heat assembly.

    Clean the sensor.

    If that doesn't work replace the entire regi assembly. Takes five minutes.

    I have a whack of these used to swap in when they get dirty.

    Cheap paper will cause this error within 20,000 copies.

    Hi, I have a Xerox CQ 9303, the same problem appeared 89-520-00 Home Sensor Timeout RAP. I performed the DC330, both motors work well, when the shaft is turned manually, the sensor responds (HI (x), LOW (x)). But the problem does not disappear. I have SM Need help pls.

    Hi, I replace the complete PreHeat Assembly (801K37710) and the fault was gone

    You don't repair the registration assembly. You throw it out and get a new one.

    Garbage is garbage, and these units get old and brittle. Sensor flag breaks off home drive gear, etc.

    Toss it.
