    xerox 5632 fusing

message temperture Error at fusing unit .
I checked lamps and thermofuses and they are ok i suspect thermistors.
Fusing unit rises the temperture .
Is thermistor the problem or something else ?
Can i use machine at this condition without replaceing anything.
I am a Ricoh tech and not so familiar with xerox machines. Thanks.

As i told you the message is "temperture error at fusing unit"
    and under is the message
    a) printing function is not available
    b) If problem insist call for help.
I tried to make copies but i could't
BEcause i am o Ricoh tech i don't know if somehow an error code appears and what do i have to do to see it.
    I suspect thermistors.
Replace the whole unit is not an option for customer.

My opinion is the fuser unit from Ricoh copier do same thing as fuser unit from Xerox copier.
So , if you are tech, you need what to do in this situation.
Also I have a great doubts the fuser can work into Ricoh machine when thermistor is bad.

I've been a Xerox Tech since 2002... there is 99.9% of the time a numeric code giving the EXACT issue. only when the consumable ( fuser ) is near/EOL do you only get a message.

Should be an "active messages" or "fault history" sections somewhere in the UI, this will give codes.

Anything starting with a 10 is fuser related.
