Xerox C75 042-326

I have a client who changed his IBT belt. He's done it several times and knew how to do it. However he now has 042-326 that is present immediately upon booting the machine, and there is no attempt for the machine to spin up. NVM 741-105 has remained at zero since initially clearing. It does not register in the counter even though it is there upon boot. Any ideas why this might not be clearing? Machine was fine before that. Thanks!

NVM 741-105 is correct for DC250 and 700, but in my service manual for C75 it's NVM 741-132 that is the Belt Position Too Long Counter.
