Versalink C7030 Needs Postscript

As the saying goes "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished"

I got a chairty (Ronald McDonald House) a great deal on a Versalink C7030.

I told them it would do all the special Xerox App Studio plugins without any problems.

Come to find out that the "PostScript" option is "NOT" included in the MFP, while it "IS" included in the "Single Function" machine.

And it is necessary for the apps they need to use.

I believe the PostScript is already installed in the machine. I just need the license key to unlock it. Xerox Part (497K18340).

I hate to have to tell them they have to spend another $400.00 for something that should have been included.

Anybody have any Ideas.

Unfortunately it’s a USB key license. No getting around it. It’s the same deal as the older series. It’s included in the bigger brother AltaLink as it was in the WorkCentre 78XX but not the 72XX
