Colorqube 9301 printhead issue

I rip down a 100+ colorqubes a year and find this kind of blowout in more then half of them. The heads just dont seal up consistently. Even from the factory. Tip or no tip. 20,000 copies or 6.5m.

Mean you this seal kit ?

This fix is for the internal head blowout issue, which I only see so often. I also heard it will prolong head life but I think it's a waste of time.

Usually when I see a complete mess of ink inside a qube' it's due to leakage from the rear seal at the umbilical. Leaks from the umbilical down the back of the head and goes everywhere.

Once they leak you just have to chuck the head and try another one.

If you listen during the initial purge after a head swap you can hear the leak most times.
