Disable Fiery DC242

Hi.

The power supply has blown on the external fiery and whilst waiting for a new one is there a way I could disable the fiery controller and use the printer a standard networked printer?

No.
To print on dc242 you must have Fiery.

ah well, there goes that idea - the power supply just looks to be a normal atx supply am I right?

I bit the bullet and visited the local pc shop and picked a power supply up and we are back in business.
