Non customer mode is solved by changing NVM 616-014 to the value of 2 and rebooting. It will then run through initial setup (language, clock etc...)

Able to help customer access networking after removing data related to previous owner that prevented customer from gaining access. Machine formerly owned by bank. So now customer is printing and all is well except can't access administrative mode as bank had their own id + password.
Adi, I wonder ifyou could help me here.
I would need to change id +password to default or to customer preference. I understand there is a procedure to reset id + password after entering CSE MODE.
I saw a procedure for the WC5225 but was told that there is a different procedure on the WC7225. Please advise.
I understand that Xerox can be called and after giving serial# and total they give a ten digit number but would prefer to do it thru UI Diagnostics/CSE MODE
Thank you for your help Adi + JH
I dont know how can that be done from service mode.
You need the reset code and follow the procedure from edoc for resseting the admin passwd to default.
Thanks. I saw a procedure for WC5225 nd thought there might be one for WC7225.
Thank you Adi. I have SM but did not see this snd the 12 digit code must be gotten from Xerox after submitting serial # + total count.
