Xerox DC 242 Toner drop down

Hi All.

I had to replace the magenta dev unit after the seal failed and blocked the dev unit ever since then I have been getting spots of magenta drop down scattered across the page - I thought this might have been due to a build up of dev/toner from the split seal but after running over 500 pages through its still there. I have cleaned all the surfaces that I can see and pulled the transfer belt out and cleaned up and under.

Does any one know if this will pass with more copies passed or am I missing something obvious?

Never mind - It seems to be related to the new drum I installed at the same time - swapped the drum for the old one and the problem disappeared within a page or 2 and has not reappeared in over 500 that I have ran so far.

I will send that drum back under warranty
