EXP250 Fiery System version

Is the EXP250 v1.1 (BMK, RoHS) really only Fiery System 6.1? Or was there an update to System 8 Release 2?

As I understand (correct me if I am wrong) the bustle controllers AXA and WUP were updated to System 8e Release 2, so I would be surprised if the "better" external controllers were left behind at System 6.1... But I can't find any updates for a BMK EXP250 beyond v1.1 which appears to be System 6.1.

That's so disappointing that the cheaper bustle controllers for the 240/250 would be updated to System 8e Release 2, but the more expensive external EXP250 would be left at System 6.1.
