08-900 Error on Phaser 7750 Jam at Fuser

I am getting a Jam at the fuser, then error code 08-900 displayed in diagnostics.

The paper is going in about a quarter inch into the fuser before it says Jammed.

No obstructions, all sensors pass in diagnostics.

Remove paper all good again till it just starts to enter fuser. Then throws jam error

    Changed fuser. (No Luck)

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

ok..what does the manual say about this jam?
other than changing fuser, what have you done?
is there a sensor before the fuser?
what is the life on pickups?

could be a variety of things... until you define the jam code, you won't get far...
start by cleaning/testing sensor in paper path...

The 08-900 is just listed as a static jam.

    Swaped fuser.

    Checked in Diagnostics:
    Fuser Exit Sensor
    POB Sensor
    Tray 2 feet out
    Registration
    Duplex

    All tests passed

Not sure if you ever solved this, but very often a small part of the actuator of the fuser sensor tends to break off.

That is part of the "Fuser Exit Sensor" which was replaced.

    But thanks for playing !

Ah didn't realise you replaced the sensor.

Does it also jam on heavy stock?

Static jams / POB sensor jams are common on WC7556 WC78XX family which is same print engine, 9 times out of 10 it's worn takeaway rolls behind the lower l/h door. Also the horizontal transport roll for T3 or T4, forget which. But mainly the takeaway rolls.

    Try those.

I would respectfully argue the Phaser 7750 print engine is different from the 7556/78xx family. Those share their print engine with the Phaser 7500/7800
