Hello to all from NOVA. Some will get that, most will not. Chrisban knows NOVA.
The only way to reload software is thru a PWS or thru a slave drive and I am taking you have neither. This is not like the newer machines now where it can be done thru a thumb drive or thru the Web. This machine line requires the software to be loaded by either the PWS and using the WCPP tool or having the software on a drive to put thru a Master/Slave and put onto a HDD (AKA Cloning HDD). If you have not done these before and or DO NOT HAVE THE PWS with correct program to enter these machines you can do this all day with the same results. Get onto the web and contact ECopy Tech in Chantilly, he will be more than happy to help you.

This is what the manual states.
The purpose of this procedure is to download software from the PWS to upgrade the machine software versions or to replace a software version that has become defective.

Ensure that the Software Download Tool is installed on the PWS (refer to the pullout that is packaged with the software CD). This tool resides on the disk with the system software.

Steps 1-14 are getting the PWS ready and notes pertaining to download. The following is after the machine is PWS connected

  1. Select the appropriate file(s) for download.
  2. Select Start Download… The screen will display Processing. (Load time is approximately 15 minutes).
  3. When the download is completed the machine will reboot. Exit the Software Download Tool.
  4. Perform any additional steps or procedures per the actual instructions that accompany the software.
  5. Print a new copy of the System Settings List and verify that the software has been upgraded or reloaded to the correct version.
  6. Reconnect the customer's network to the RJ45 port on the rear panel.
  7. Disconnect the PWS.
  8. Verify machine operation

    Hope this helps.
