you can view the specs on both machines by going to Xerox.com... as far as which one is better.. that could be a matter of preference

really vague question..
WHAT do you need to print/copy on it?
WHAT type volume?
Need a saddle stitch / hole punch ?
What weight paper?

to ask such a Q.. you may get a guy that his people only do 2500/LTR pages every month.. Get my point?

Knowing that I found wc7655 (120000 page)
Its price is cheap compared to dc252 (250000 page) .....
The monthly size does not matter if you need a small job that does not exceed 10,000 page color

The difference is in controller/ESS/MCU. 7655 is an office machine (better scanning function), the DocuColor has superior image quality and color management.

I stay away from the 7655 as much I can, there's always issues with the controllers. I find the 242/252 far more reliable.

DC242 252 = Graphics Art machine better with external Fiery print server.
It is what you need.
WC76xx machine is office targeted and dont accept external print server.

look at the rep power of the 'tech' who likes the WC unit... always has problems.. never shares IF there was A fix... the WC doesn't do what you want .. yes it is cheaper.. but 1/2 the machine like the DC line.

100% no brainer with the Doc 250 line. As mentioned in previous posts the DocuColor 250 line offers the external fiery for color manipulation, spotting, I can go on forever. For anything graphic arts an External Fiery is the better way to go for reasons stated earlier but that also goes for other manufactures. Most people who do not work on these regularly think the 76xx line is better as it is less headache as there are alot more adjustments in the Doc250 line due to graphics arts software. Hands down the Doc250 is more expensive but worth it in the long run especially if your Quality reputation is on the line.
