Is there any method to reset NVM that stucks on altboot, without replacing it?

what do you mean " stucks on altboot "?

depending on the ACCESSORIES on the machine... speed of CPU and other factors

altboot can take quite a while ( 6550 to me 45 mins )

are you going by the manual?

have you tried with the PWS?

If an altboot fails try a lower version of firmware. Sometimes on this family the same firmware version wont go back on. can always upgrade through CWIS after.

Also a failed HDD will prevent altboot so if the above fails try replacing the HDD.
