finisher docucolor 240

Good evening to everyone. I have a docucolor 240 printer with a professional finishing system. when I do the booklet creation I get this error.
(staples are out of stock or not inserted correctly check the R2 cartridge)
The cartridge is new and I tried to change it with the R3 (inverting them) but it always gives me the same error.
Can anyone help me?

I've had this error too and a small pieces of plastic broke off from the stapler. Needed to replace it.

It is quite easy to remove. From the top of my head 1 cable and 2-3 screws.
