    Xerox 700 printing no yellow

Hi, I have issue with my xerox 700 where the yellow does not print at all. I read some where on a tech forum that "the developer motor is temp shut down due to no yellow toner out". Please does anyone have any idea how get the yellow toner back. I've changed the motor for the yellow dispenser and tested the developer unit motor and it seems to work but still getting no yellow. PLEASE HELP!

I removed the developer unit and manually put more toner inside and after tetsted and the yellow prints spotted, not misssing well with other colour... please see attached pics...

You ARE getting yellow.. just not SOLID yellow.
adding toner in that manor COULD screw the dev unit BY OVER TONING!

take measurement from beginning of 1st defect to beginning of 2nd.. report back in MM.

ALSO please try to acquire the Info Needed needed below:

When posting in CTN, you will find most techs don't like to reply to such a vague post where the OP doesn't give required info to make a half way guess on the issue.. (and DO NOT end the title of your thread in the word "Print")

    Info Needed:

    Error Codes/Jam Codes
Uploaded Pics of and PQ/CQ issue.
    Total Page Counts
    Pages Counts on PM parts
    Error Logs from machine
    What service done/not done
    OEM supplies/parts or 3rd party
Do you have the Service/Parts Manuals
    Are YOU a TECH

Thanks for your respose. There is no error code. I live in the country and no tech will come in due to distance so I have to fix everything myself. The initial error code was 093-314, after feed back from other Techs, I runned the dispenser motor and it didn't work so I replaced the motor and tested it and worked and now the error is gone but when i printed there was no yellow. that's when I removed the developer unit and manually put more toner inside and after tested and the yellow prints but not solid as you mentioned. PLEASE YOUR IMPUT WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED! Please could you explain this in laymans way "take measurement from beginning of 1st defect to beginning of 2nd.. report back in MM."

A ruler.. in millimeter measurement.. put the 1 on beginning of 1st defect... measure in MM to the start of next defect.
Toner add did you run calibration on the dev?
Who the hell told you to do that?
NEVER listen to them again. You have messed the toner/dev powder ratio up.
Get a DAMN MANUAL . Study it... learn it
This will be the ONLY way to fix.
Xerox has a lock on firmware parts and support.
You might need Personal Work Station PWS..and EDoc software.

Thanks for your advice. Would it make a difference if I replace the dev unit?
