Poll Best Heavy Duty Black & White Multifunction Machine

I have a cutomer that wants a 10K page per month Black & White Mutifunction Machine.

It is going into a very remote location so service is going to be extremely difficult.

I am looking for the most "reliable" Black & White Mutifunction Machine, I can get.

Brand (Xerox, Minlota, Sharp, HP, etc.) is not important, Speed is not that important either. Cost, up to $10,000.00.

(They previously had a WorkCentre 5335 with 2.5 Million copies and only had 2 service calls)

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance

If you're after an A3 MFP there's not a lot in the Xerox stable worth looking at unless you want to spend more and go for the D95 family but that's significantly over budget.

*EDIT* Versalink B7035 family is the current model that replaces the 5335 (same print engine) but i wouldn't call it "heavy duty"

Suprised at only 2 service calls on last machine, was customer changing their own feed rollers and stuff?

    Not to my knowledge.

I went out and replaced the fuser, feed rolls, main drive.

I am not married to the Xerox brand for this customer.

Actually I would prefer to sell them whatever they need, make a decent profit, and never see them again.
(Thier location makes them too difficult to service)

Not sure if this is the right place to post (Xerox technical) since I imagine this is mainly visited by Xerox techs.

I have always been very fond of the 5335 print engine ever since it's predecessor the Pro 123/128. It seems like the B7000 is a continuation of that engine and although I have no personal experience, I've heard they are very solid.

We're definitely thinking on a different scale. I care for machines that do more than 10K every day. I've personally ran more than 10K on a single service call (customers jobs, of course). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Your right, we are talking apples and oranges.

I am talking reliability more than durability.

They don't make that many prints that the numbers would be the primary concern.
More on the ability to go without a service call for a year or longer.
