WC 7655 head scratcher... makes no sense.

This Workcentre 7655 lays down yellow toner over the entire print surface whenever we send a color print job or a walk up color copy. See image below:

However, and this is the head scratcher part, when I go into diagnostic mode an print a color graph, it prints flawlessly. See image below:

I've changed out the color drums, made sure the bias spring is making contact with the drum unit, and eliminated the possibility of a developer housing malfunction.

I kind of doubt that it's hardware related since the hardware works fine in diagnostic mode.

Any suggestions?

Try reloading the NC SW .If this do not works, reseat / clean contacts or replace the firewire cards and cable between NC controller and CCM controller

Do a deep cleanning of the machine and replace the filters.
Then maxsetup or yellow tone down. It is too much yelow on the test page, you cant see the gradations.
What machine software version ?

I believe you should focus more on the network controller than the machine. Start by making sure that the data cable between machine and controller is properly connected; try another cable if need be; reload the controller if still doing same thing.

The network controller is not involved in copying, I doubt that will be the problem. I'd also suspect machine software or SBC.

Software Version = 0.40.33.53375 which I think is the latest software version for this machine.

Replaced the cable. No luck. Will look into reloading the controller.
