    Xerox J75 solid cyan

I've got a J75 that is printing solid cyan pages, the machine will sometimes run fine then just start printing solid cyan over the image during a job. It actually consumed most of the cyan developer and I chalked it up to a bad drum since drum was near end of life. After new dev and new drum, it ran for half a day then started doing it again.

After looking closer the pages have lots of magenta and yellow as well, but cyan seems to be the heaviest. After the job is stopped, the ibt belt has solid CMY, but no black (see attached photo).

This seems to be some sort of voltage leak or short, but I cannot find any issues.

Customers has 2x J75's, so I can swap parts for troubleshooting. I swapped cyan developer housing earlier today and it ran a couple hundred fine but problem returned in same machine after I left.

I'll be back at it tomorrow to try swapping components, but has been hard to troubleshoot because it will start working like normal either before I get there and run fine or after I've been digging in the machine.

Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions to troubleshoot further.

    Thanks

hello friends, I have the same problem in a WC7665, I changed the polarization cards of the charge rollers and the revealing units without success, I will try changing the door switch although I do not see the relationship with the problem

    Thank you Xcopitech,

So you are saying mcu pwb may not be sending 24v signal? Is there a separate HVPS just for the BCR rollers? I'm leaning towards HVPS being the problem.

I've tried new door switch, swapping the entire drum tray with all drums and devs, transfer belt, 2nd btr, even fuser just for the heck of it.

I was going to try swapping power supplies today, but they had to at least keep one machine running to get some jobs out.

I don't suppose you have the part number for HVPS? My pws is having problems right now with BSOD

    Thanks

Ok looks like there is a charge HVPS, PL 11.1 #13 105e21280

I'm going to give that a try, not a dealer and Google isn't giving me any hits on the part number, do I'll have to make some calls to get my hands on it

Sorry for a late update... Took a while to get the board.

It was the high voltage power supply board CMY that was at fault. Beck ordered for a long time, bit eventually found a vendor who had an older part number.

Thanks for coming back and updating the thread with the resolution. That's very helpful.

The original part number off the board and manual was 105e21280

The replacement board part number that I used and was able to find from a vendor is 105E19580, which is identical and is listed for the 550/560 C60/C70, and is compatible with the J75
