Xerox Docucolor 3535 CXP3535e problems

Xerox 3535 with Creo Spire CXP3535 Rip (Has an XP Pro sticker on the side)

Ok so we reformatted the rip tried to install Version 1 of the Creo Spire (which has Windows 2000 on it)...once we go to the point where disk 2 was supposed to be installed, we kept getting an error saying the wrong disk was inserted. We tried everything from putting disk 1 back in to switching the hard drive cables thinking that may have something to do with it. Nothing worked.

Then we got Version 2 (also had Windows 2000 on it) and installed it but we were getting an Adobe fail install with that...tried every imaginable combination with that.

Now when we run our own copy of Windows XP Pro on the machine and install Version 2 Disk 2, everything is fine til the end and we start getting random errors and the GUI doesn't come up...but the machine says the program is running.

We are left with the assumption that there is another software Version disk set that has Windows XP Pro on it but we are unable to find anything.

Has anyone run into this problem before?

Ok well we got the right software which was the CXP3535e and we are getting the "Acrobat Installation Fail" error when we are asked to insert Disk 2.

Anyone that can help?
