Xerox 7750 Service Code 80
Hi could anyone provide any assistance with resolving and service code 80 on a Xerox Phaser 7750. The infomation i have so far is that is an Engine Firmware Halt Failure.
Also has anyone experienced issues printing via a wireless network connection as this seems to cause the 7750 to freeze up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

if your printing from a mac when it happens it needs a software upgrade
error 80 is caused by a miscommunication between the print engine and the network/postscript driver so try upgrading the machines software to the latest version and reinstall the print drivers.
(the latest software contains a fix for the mac problem)

You can also try this, go to Service Mode then select NVM Access then select Reset the PostScript NVRAM. If same problem occurs, then replace Image Processor Board and MB RAM Memory.
