    xerox 440

    not ready to copy & scanner fault(in fault history U8-3). i checked scanner pcb, lr pcb & mother board but not solved scanner fault.PI.SUGGEST THIS PROBLEM. THANKS.

    Try reinitilizing iit nvms in diagnostics key # 11 then dc 131 20/64 iit/ips initilisation.

    doing this way I have resolved the problem! I have only now to resolve this problem: error n5-1 "Network/Print Controller Fault. Solutions? Thanks.

    LVPS is not providing adequate operating voltage to operate all platforms simultaneously.
    Replace LVPS.

    The N5-1 can be cause by the ess lvps it has its own power supply, check you lights on your ess and listen to here if the hard drive is running.
    If you have power my best bet is to try an altboot/reload software or you could have a bad hard drive.
