Xerox Dc250 with Creo CX250 problem

    Hi all.

    I have a problem with Dc250 using a Creo CX250 rip.

The issue is that i have a connection between rip and machine, the job appears at the copier, but the print just hangs there !

Any idea what is wrong ?

How about restoring the Creo. The simplest thing that you can do. This looks like some kind of wrong parameters send from the rip. Good luck.

    Hi,
I did restore the Creo, that did not work. But we found out that the RAID controller was down, and needed fixing

    So everything is OK now.

    Hi Viaros.

I got a PC specialist, he rebuild the Raid controller (this is something quite common with RAID controllers)

After that I did a full restore, as described in the user manual.

    Best of luck.

Re: Xerox Dc250 with Creo CX250 problem

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

Well, in my creo there is no more raid disk! I do not know it seems like it evaporated somehow

and beside the fact that all the jobs remain stuck in the printprocess and nothing else happens, when CREO starts the following error appears: "wrong disk configuration, disk number should be 2. disk number is 1 "????????

I restored creo to an earlier stage, even the factory stage but still the error appears and the jobs remain stuck. I looked a lot over the internet but the solutions appear for a different version of creo not cx250 and i'm afraid to use them (a solution is stripping the disk as milo said)

    Any more ideas?

Re: Xerox Dc250 with Creo CX250 problem

    Hi

Thanks a lot for the response.

According to what I know after reading in depth and from what our PC specialist told me, after restriping I need to reinstall CREO as restoring for me at this moment is not an option as i have already restored it to the factory default mode. Please correct me if I'm wrong)

If i need to do the restriping and reinstall creo I have the problem that I lost my software CDs and right now I'm our of the CREO software.

Could you please be so kind and help me with the creo Cx250 software image disks? I have the registration no for the CREO so no need to worry about registering your soft to another creo.

I willing to pay for it, but to get the creo working, as my jobs are not done and my customers.....

    Hi.

I dont belive that you need the system disks, I don't have them and I never had them.

The restriping is only for the image disk (I belive) the system and all the backup info
    is on seperate disks.
