    Unhappy Xerox XC33D

    I am repeatedly receiving an error message of U4-2. I have no idea how to fix this. Anyone have any input?

    Fuser error code.... reset is 50 start 20 start in diag mode. ( I think )
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

    Got into diag mode and followed your instructions, no luck. Still U42 error.

    Need to take the fuser apart and check the lamp, thermofuse and thermistors. repair/replace the bad part and reassemble.
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
