Slow network scanning on a Xerox 7345

    Hello,

We have a Xerox 7345 setup to scan to a network folder on a shared drive using SMB. Everything works fine, but it takes forever to transfer the file to the folder. Is there a way to speed it up? The default template and memory are set up according to the attached images. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Xerox MFPs at all but I have had slow network scanning problems before. A couple things to try:

    1) Change the network speed(from 100Mbps to Auto or vice versa or change from Auto to 10Mbps, etc).
    2) Plug the Ethernet cable into a different port at the customers switch.

What type of documents are you scanning? How many pages? Lots of pictures in these documents or primarily text?

What kind of switch do you have?

Is the solution of Adriansto working?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try plugging it in to a different switch port and try adjusting the speed setting. The switch is an unmanaged Netgear 10-port switch. Thanks Adriansto for the documents, looks like this is not the first time this problem has come up. I will look into those possibilities once I return to the site.
