I have an old Xerox fax machine that when you turn it on the lcd will get 4 black bars going across from it, but no noises (motors or gears) are coming from machine. It will just hang there. It is getting power and I even used a known good outlet just to make sure. I did a memory clear and an all clear on the machine, but no help.
