| Slow PDF printing DC 265 ST
I've got an old machine and knew I'd have a little bit of difficulty with this but not this much. I tried to print 130 pdf's that totaled 1600pgs and it literally took 6 hrs. Is this to be expected with this dinosaur of a machine? I haven't tried converting them to anything else, but did play around with the drivers on it. Seems to give me similar results whether using pcl or ps driver.
Here's an example of my situation.
I batch print 5 pdf's, each 5 pgs (each natively under 1mb). It spools on the computer and sends all of them to the machine in under a minute. The machine shows them in the job status, formatting, processing, printing. It does it 1 file at a time, with a 1min-5min pause between files. It completely choked on 112 page file and I got an error.
I'm going nuts trying to figure this out. Any help is very appreciated. |
