I've had quite a few enquiries about chip re-setting, so thought it might be useful to post the details here.
I've posted it as suitable for Xerox and Dell, but really any item that has a chip or reprogramable eeprom and be rechipped or reprogrammed.
It's also handy to have a set of new / unused chips so that you can read the "full" data.
I have the bin dumps for the Xerox 6130 and 6140, so if anyone needs these , please drop me a line.
Apology's if I've forgotten to reply to anyone directly, but the following additional information should hopefully be very useful
Firstly this is the little device I made that will allow you to re-chip or re-program the eepron that is embedded in the PCB on most toner cartridges.
See this link for pictures.

This device also works for several other similar cartridges including DELL 1320

Before you ask, he's not a relative, but a very helpful chap.............. speaks very good English and he comes highly recommended.
I had to make a recepticle to "plug" the chip into, not pretty as you can see from the pictures, but it works.
I forgot to add this in earlier replies, but you will also need a small piece of software to read and write the hex data
The software can be found here............ it's been tested by me and is perfectly safe and easy to use.
