    Xerox DC230 problem: network controller disabled

    hi friends. unexpectedly when I have turned on the car it has appeared me this error: network controller disabled. I don't succeed anymore now in printing from the computer in what the controller of net it is disabled. how to do for rehabilitating it? thanks.

    Sorry not quite clear on what you are actually saying ? I you have a network controller fault you will need to do and Altboot first the 230's use the hyperterminal where you have to type in the commands. If it has been converted back to a DC copier i.e hard drive removed ess pugged out, then you will have to reconnect these back. Hope this helps

    the problem is not that to remove and reconnect the plug. I have already tried to do it but the same doesn't work! I believe is a problem of inside commands to the machine.

    is not shown any error code! the message is shown only to me that the net controller is disabled

    pres key button then # and ten 1,1 this will direct you to the service menu check the errors and tell us what is the fault code

    the codes of error are:

    N5-1 POST result not reported
    and
    N7-11 IOT-ESS communication failure

    If etive giving flaw in the network controller and print it should show a fault code, what is this code? You will probably have to reload the software from ESS, but for this you have to have a PWS.

    the fault code is tihis: N7-11 IOT-ESS communication failure . however I have a pws. how can I reload the software?
