Xerox 6400 reset admin password

Hello all,

I have an Xerox Workcentre 6400 which has an password on it for the admin.
What can I do to change it?

A customer changed the password but didn't write it down.

Please help me out.

Hi artphil
I had the same problem with a Workcentre 6400S
You have to contact the Xerox support and tell them the page count and serial number of your Workcentre.
The code to reset your admin pass is dynamically generated.
If you have the code, press * 3 C at the control panel and enter the code.
