This old dog has close to 7 mln copies. It now says 'adjusting image' and this goes on forever. It kept giving weird problems, shooting pages or continually printing config report only on page one; when I finally reboot it sometimes gets to 'printer not available' - I cleaned/checked contacts between copy cartridge and the corresponding connections on the rear inside wall. It works for a few hours, then problems comes back again.
Another question - developer: what is its life, prints are a bit more faded. I do not have PWS yet...

developer material life is about 1 million copies then needs replacing. Sounds like you need a software reload.
