    XEROX 3535

Working on a xerox 3535. It has faded copies on the front half of the page.
When you make single color copies, it only shows up on the black and the cyan. Print or copy, doesn't matter which you do. "customer says"........... They just replaced all the drums and toners. (?) i'm a konica gal. Anybody have any suggestions?

Have you personally checked on which color is showing the issue? To the untrained eye it could be just visible in Cyan and Black.

I would suggest checking the developer modules of the 2 colours . If its present in all colors look at the 2nd Btr

Ok thanks. And yes i did check the prints myself. Funny things is that both black and cyan are doing the exact same thing on the test chart. That is why i was not sure it was indiviual to a color like dv unit would be. (did you get that?) but i'll look closer in that area. Thanks again.

I resolved similar to this problem with changing the fuser. I had stripes(in yellow and cyan) as they were in test chart I used

"customer says" they changed the fuser. But, the machine looks like no one has done anything in a long time. In checking my notes i see it is calling for 2nd btr but the fading is only on two colors, and i am told that would not help if it is only on two of the colors. ?????????????

commonly on this machine when the user lowers the bar that raises the transfer belt to swap out the drums the transfer belt doesn't lower correctly (usually on the front side) causing light images down one side.
