The PWS software I do not have. This is what I mentioned. The Xerox may be corrupt, but without the PWS software I can not see that corruption, in LynxOS I would be able to see the corruption very easy. This is why I asked if there was a standard login. I have 30 years in real unix, lynxOS and linux in my world are all considered baby unix. Pretty easy to work with.
Where can I get this illusive PWS software that runs on XP? That seems to be the bridge that everyone uses. If I could get in to the LynxOS I would just build a new GUI front end for access. This should only be a few minute job, I agree with you, not a big problem, but not having the PWS software or a login makes it a big job. I see the file systems are 40 but LynxOS has made them priority for some strange reason. I use C2 level for security on my systems, I think they just changed the node table to make it extra work.
So, I understand there are two pieces of software, PWS and Diag.exe. Is that correct and where are they downloaded from?
Thanks,
George
