Dots of death wcp 3545
Hi have a 3545 that a fellow tech was having issues with now i have taken over,
It was suffering from dots of deaths would not come up ready to copy.
Fuser warms fans run and exposure lamp lights and finisher initialises.
Should of been a straight case of replacing the CCM nvm pwb and then setting up machine configuration in DC105.
But fellow tech replaced the MCU and the MCU NVM pwb.
Now machine comes up power on failure machine is in non-customer mode.
Now what i would like to know if both the CCM NVM PWB and the MCU NVM PWB and changed at the same time, is there anyway to recover the machine into a working state?
Old MCU NVM PWB he no longer has which is a bummer.

Basically once the MCU NVM PWB is changed it can only be reauthorised by Xerox via a special code, you have to connect your PWS obtain machines unique ID then request the code from Xerox. Basically its had it really !

Re: Dots of death wcp 3545
I have the same problem with Xerox WC 40 pro. After replacing the CCM nvm pwb and then setting up machine configuration in DC105, I have fail code " Machine is in non-customer mode". I don t understand why this problem dont appears from another cases replacing the CCM nvm pwb and then setting up machine configuration in DC105 ( in another machines). How fix the problem without connect to "official Xerox men"?
