Hi, I got the same problem with a customer X12 the problem was the cd rom I disconnet it and problem solve. if dosen't work is the hardrive or corrupted software. If you send me your hardrive and bios i check it for you and upgrade your bios to v1.43 with faci for reasonable fee.

RE: Fiery X12 with Xerox DC12, DC1250 hangs at loading message.
I've never really had much success mucking around with it outside of simply reloading the software via the CD's and if this doesn't work then replacing the drive and reloading the software.
If you need to get the CD's Try this:
You can actually ask EFI Fiery for them Directly, and the thing is they can't sell it to you because of their contract with Xerox so they will give it to you for free if you persist.
It's not the usual thing that they do.
One of my customers told me that they did this and I told another one of my customers about this and EFI did the same thing for them.
No guarantees but it's certainly worth a try.
