Xerox 425DC Error message "Not ready Print engine fault" ??

A new customer asked me to look at this old dog. It was making a loud grinding noise, in 5 mins I find the exit rollers have turned to goo and stuck causing the noise. simple enough. I go back with the rollers and get the machine working good.Ran 50 copies no problems. They call one hour later with the message "not ready, print engine fault" and the display showing arrow pointing to copier. Had customer check "machine status button" and nothing changed. Also had them check all cables including the one coming from scanner. Everything was tight. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Long time did't work on this "old dog", but I can bet there is fault with Fuser Assembly.
Enter diagnostic (as far as I remember pass is #11) read Fault Code, and come back.

    Thanks for the replies.

Went back today and recent faults were for main motor failure. I removed the fuser and image unit. Then fuser error came up, installed fuser & image unit, reset fuser code.
Machine warmed up and came to ready. Seems machine was locked out with a false code. Figured fuser code would trump all others and "unlock" from the other fault. It worked!

Didn't hear back from customer so think it may be ok. Keeping my fingers crossed
