Phaser 8560 - Power Saver Timeout - How to override 240 minute max?

One annoying characteristic of the 8560 is the several minutes it takes to warm up from Power Saver mode. The max value you can set the Power Saver Timeout to is 240 minutes. I have a customer who created a script that prints a 1-dot page every 239 minutes in order to work around this.
I'm hoping for something a bit more elegant - anyone?
