I just bought this machine and I only need it for black and white copies but it is asking for yellow ink, is there a way to bypass that and print what I need to print in black and white.

It has been a little while, but from what I can remember, there isn't a way to get around it.. you got to install the toner..

I used to use a wooden dowel on the 8400 to make it think it has ink. Will only work if the well is full.
