Docucolor 260 Touch Screen

Have just started up machine to find that the touchscreen does not respond. It turns on and loads to main menu but will not respond to touch. Any ideas out there??

First try to disconnect then connect the cable from UI to CCM.
If this dont work see in service mode if there is any error code.
For your UI monitor has wo components:
Panel and touch panel. You need only touch panel if it is faulty.

Yes I know all this. But disconnecting and disassembling helped only once, and only for couple days.

Reading this post thought that there were a way of fixing touch panel .

you can disconnect and reconnect for 100 million years and it will never work
you need to reheat the screen contacts and apply pressure so the glue reglues the reassemble

Can I do it with hot air?

use a heat gun
dont get too close to the screen
do it on the back side only
