    Xerox Docucolor 12 Power ON

Doc 12 UI displays; line 1 "Ready to Copy"; line 2 Turn the power to the Printer ON".

Power is on; functions fine from the glass; XP12 rip doesn't communicate with Doc 12.

XP12 rip message "Turn copier power off and on" (this doesn't clear the error).

OK, who can solve the riddle WHY THE DOC 12 DOESN'T THINK IT'S ON?

    Really, any help is appreciated.

    Xerox Docucolor 12 Power ON

    NVM settings are incorrect.

759-053 should be set to 1. If thes locations are not correct jobs will not print. Also ebsure 759-004 is set to a 1 if it is a DCCS50 and 0 if it is a DFE

Press end hold 0 for 2 sec. end press start (green button). Then enter password 6789. Go to NVM Read/Write end change sittings.

    Me too...

I'm running in to the same issue. I followed the directions and then got the 10-399 error...I reset 772-018 to 0 and now I'm getting the "turn power on to the printer" again"...am I missing something?

I have the DC12 with the x12 fiery rip.

It's a good thing I can't lift it to throw it!

    Help Please

It is not a big problem :

your machine and fairy is not getting connected.

First check the cord from both ends, insert properly, put some packing like card paper on the machine.
If not solved, put the print board out form the fiary, clean it, clean the cpu check again.

    check the cord

10-399 is a FUSER INTAKE FAN FAIL, check condition of the FUSER INTAKE FAN and the FRONTDOOR INTERLOCK SWITCH. Replace if not working.

To eliminate "TURN POWER ON .." message, set nvm 759-053 to 1, 759-054 to 1. You might also want to set 772-018 to it's original value.

Sorry for necroposting but I am intentionally posting to raise this post higher in google results as this obscure solution is only found here and I know others with DCCS50/DC12 have reset NVM and been unable to clear the connection failure rip message.
