Workcentre Pro C2128 "Communication Error"

Hi,

I have this copier, Xerox Workcentre Pro C2128, that was turned off by one year aprox. when I try to start up the machine it didn'tt complete the boot.
After finish the dot bar in the top of the touch screen it said "Communication Error, turn off the machine..." I clean a little bit the ZDC-1 comm box in the back of the machine, reaseat all wiring from scanner to comm and printer unit. Just to make sure, It has one USB and two comm cables, it need more cables, I saw one 4 pin connector near one of the printer comm cables.

Any help will be appreciated.

It has dead battery on ccm nvm pwb which is located inside controller (yellow block).

You'll need new battery and diag software for this model.

You need to connect with machine and see the errors code.
Many possible errors with same ' comm. error ' message
