Hello. Does anyone have any information on how to adjust the ppm of a WC5745?
Sure, I'll have one of the sales people call you for an upgrade.
LOL!!! Yeah, after you get him to upgrade, sell me the 5745. Seriously though, I don't believe that you can change the PPM of a machine unless you change A LOT of expensive gear.

Really? I have several 5638's here. What do I need to do to increase the PPM of these machines? Thanks

Hahaha... Nice!
No seriously, how do you do that on 56xx series machines without swapping logic and parts?

There are a few (not just the one mentioned previous) password protected NVM values that can can be changed to make the machine think it is a different speed. If you look long enough in SearchLite and eDocs you will be able to figure it out. It is dubious that is will even speed up the machine.
I once took a network controller off a 5665 and put it on a 5638, I knew I should have alt boot it, but wanted to see what would happen..... Well it made the 5638 think it was a 5665. Had error after error, it didn't like the fuser or the drum. Would not fully boot. It was a mess. Had to reset several NVM values to the correct value, and then alt boot the controller, like I should have in the beginning. What a waste of 2 hours. Never do that again!
I believe if you want a faster machine, buy one!
